Voted as the best in the world by readers of Scuba Diving magazine three years in a row, a dive trip aboard the Truk Odyssey liveaboard is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity! The Truk Odyssey operates in the area of Chuuk state, which consists of seven major island groups lying within the Eastern Caroline Islands. Located about 617 miles (1028 km) southeast of Guam and 3,262 miles (5,436 km) southwest of Hawaii, the total land mass of Chuuk state, including the outer islands, is approximately 77 square miles (128 km).
While diving in this area, not only will we see the ghost fleet of Truk Lagoon, but we will travel to the outer reefs to see a pristine underwater utopia where over 300 varieties of soft and hard corals flaunt their rainbow colors. We will find an abundance of incredible tropical fish, anemones, gorgonians and eagle rays. With wonderful food, beautiful accomodations and up to five dives per day, this is a dream vacation you will talk about forever.
UPDATE: THIS TRIP IS NOW FULL. However, we have arranged with the Truk Odyssey to secure space on the trip departing September 12th. There are a very limited number of spaces available. The cost of this trip is $2,695.00 (does not include airfare or Truk state tax). This is a unique opportunity to be included on a trip that usually sells out over a year in advance!
