Your Basic Certification Class
*REMINDER PRIOR TO CLASS*
You must complete the PADI e-Learning knowledge development. Plan a minimum of 12-15 hours to complete this online e-learning portion. All 6 assessments and final exam need to be finished before the first day of class! Don't forget to review your medical for any YES answers.
(e-learn code provided by Scuba Utah at time of enrollment.)
Any student who has not completed the PADI e-learning prior to class, will not be allowed to participate, and will need to pay a $75 fee to transfer to another class.

- $449* - Per person If you sign up with a friend or family member at the

$699 - Semi-Private Open Water Class
$899 - Private Open Water Class
*$235 deposit to receive e-learn homework and reserve spot in a class. Remaining balance due on first night of class.

Classroom, Pool and Open Water instruction; PADI e-learning Code; lifetime PADI certification card; scuba rental equipment for pool and Open Water use. (Tank, Weights, Regulators, and BCD's)
**Reminder** PADI recommends planning 12-15 hours to complete the
e-Learning portion prior to the first pool class with us.
Not Included:
- Personal gear- (Mask, Snorkel, Boots, Fins.) Call or come in for more information and pricing. Read more about the importance of proper equipment HERE.
- Crater entrance fee- Inquire with Scuba Utah Staff on current pricing. (We do go up over two days)
Class/Pool:
- One Week Class- Monday/Wednesday/Friday evenings from 6-10 pm. Open
Water Dives (at the Crater) over Saturday/Sunday.
- Two Week Class- Tuesday/Thursday the first week, Thursday the second
week from 6-10 pm. Open Water Dives (at the Crater) over Friday/Saturday
- Weekend Class- Friday from 6-10pm and Saturday from 8am-5pm. Open
Water Dives (at the Crater) the next available weekend.
Checkout Dives:
4 Open Water checkout dives over a 2 day period (2 dives a day).
These dives are at the Homestead Crater in Midway, Utah.
Crater times are to be announced, and are subject to change.

Pre-requisites: Basic swimming/snorkeling skills

Class/Pool/Checkout Dives are all the same schedule as the normal Open Water Diver Course. (see left for description).
Checklist
Following is a checklist of what you will need to know before starting your first class.

Come into the store to get the PADI eLearning code, and required paperwork.

Complete PADI eLearning before coming to class.

Review the PADI Divers Medical Questionnaire and Medical Statement. Complete the Physicians Sign Off Form if you have answered "YES" to any item.

Understand your class schedule: pool training and Open Water dates and times.

Purchase any personal equipment needed before class.

Don't forget your swimsuit and towel!
Cancellation Policy
Need to change your class to a different schedule?
If you are not able to attend a class please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. If less than 48 hours notice is given a $100 transfer fee will be applied. No refunds once class has started.
